This project is to celebrate our fabulous independent small businesses and artists along Colchester’s South Lanes as we launch our #southlanesproject. Initially it stretches from Sir Isaac’s Walk to Eld Lane, across Trinity Street and Scheregate Steps
Aims
Colchester is the fasted growing town in the United Kingdom. Big box retailers are springing-up around the edges of the town. The South Lanes Project does not intend to compete with them. Instead to become a social hub, a vibrant strip with a unique vibe, a sense of place, things to do, a holistic, connected experience that draws attention and people into the town centre.
